On February 10, 2024 I organized a Valentine’s Day fundraiser with my friends and family. I hosted a Valentine’s theme bead necklace class to celebrate Valentine’s Day together while raising funds for the Cardiac Child Life department at BCH. The event allowed me to share my story and spread awareness about the critical services provided by the Child Life department.

On April 6, 2025 I hosted a cookie decorating class fundraiser at my apartment. The cookies were all “spring” themed to mark the arrival of the new season and the hope for sunny days ahead. On April 6, 2025 I hosted a cookie decorating class fundraiser at my apartment. The cookies were all “spring” themed to mark the arrival of the new season and the hope for sunny days ahead. The fundraiser once again benefited Cardiac Child Life at BCH and spread awareness about the important programs and services made available through this department. This year, I also incorporated a new element to the fundraiser where we packed “Sweet Spring Treats” goody bags to send to the Yawkey Family Inn, where families coming from afar can find affordable rooms while their child is in treatment at the hospital. In addition to raising money, I hope that we spread some cheer through this “sweet" fundraiser.

On May 3rd, 2026 I organized a trivia game fundraiser to benefit the Cardiac Child Life department at Boston Children’s Hospital. My community initiative helped raise funds and awareness about the critical support that Child Life provides for families experiencing complicated health challenges. On May 3rd, 2026 I organized a trivia game fundraiser to benefit the Cardiac Child Life department at Boston Children’s Hospital. My community initiative helped raise funds and awareness about the critical support that Child Life provides for families experiencing complicated health challenges. I also continued the tradition of packing “Sweet Summer Treats” for families staying at the Yawkey Family Inn, a home that provides affordable accommodations for families traveling to Boston for treatment at BCH. I personally delivered these summer themed goody bags, filled with candies and crafts, and witnessed first hand how much these gestures are appreciated by guests at the house.
