Since my open-heart surgery as a baby, my parents have become involved with fundraising efforts for medical research at Boston Children's Hospital (BCH). After many years of visiting the hospital as both a supporter and patient I felt compelled to begin my own fund-raising journey. Throughout my years at BCH, I have been struck not only by the cutting edge medical care I receive, but also by the emotional support given every step of the way. For this reason, my fund raising efforts have been directed toward Child Life services at BCH which helps families navigate their hospital experiences. This department provides critical support and care to patients and families going through incredibly challenging medical experiences.
